Up to 2 billion roubles will be sent to develop medical kits

The Government of Russia has allocated 2 billion roubles for grants to establish design documents for the domestic production of kits, including for the pharmaceutical and medical industry. The money will be spent on back-up engineering projects and the serial production of kits, a fund-raising service will be delivered by the AIE, Technology Development Agency. Previously, in 2022, more than 3.9 billion roubles were directed to the programme.

The main owner of the EMS purchased the assets of the hygienic meds manufacturer Tena

Igor Shilova and Andrei Yanovsky purchased Russian Swedish Essity, which owns the Tena trademark (producing adult diapers that feed underwear, urological beds and deposits). The value of the transaction is estimated at SwK 1.2 billion ($117 million, or 10.6 billion roubles at 17 July 2023). Essity began to prepare for withdrawal from the Russian market in April 2022, the sale of business would not affect the range and accessibility of products, and had been certified earlier by the Ministry of Commerce of the Russian Federation.

SM-Clinica launched a health centre at the EMC site in Moscow for 250 million roubles

On 18 July, the MC clinic will open a multidisciplinary medical centre in Moscow Solncio. Investments in the clinic were about 250 million roubles. As Vademecum learned in May, SM-Clinica acquired the Family Medical Centre (SSC) at the European Medical Centre (EMS). A medical centre of 4.8 thousand square metres will operate a day-care and dental unit.
