The Ministry of Industry and Trade approved the procedure for issuing permits for the export of certain types of products
The procedure for issuing permits for the export of certain types of industrial products to the EAEU countries according to the list in accordance with Appendix No. 3 to the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 312 dated 03/09/2022 has been approved. The corresponding Order of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia No. 5117 dated December 25, 2023 was published on the legal information portal. The document is valid until December 31, 2025.
According to the document, the issuance of permission is carried out by structural divisions of the Ministry of Industry and Trade on the basis of an application from a legal entity or individual entrepreneur submitted through the automated information system “Foreign Trade Information” (AIS VTD). The applicant prepares a cover letter with a list of documents to be sent and an application for a permit, generated in the AIS VTD. It must be accompanied by, for example, documents such as copies of supply contracts (agreements) and a certificate of industrial products.

A new medical devices plant will appear in the Pskov region for 665 million rubles
Moglino in the Pskov region approved the investment project of the BetaMed company for the construction of a medical devices plant worth 665 million rubles. The company itself will invest most of the funds. The company plans to produce catheters for hemodialysis and surgical endoscopic staplers.
BetaMed still has to obtain approval from the SEZ expert council before becoming a resident and receiving the space and requested resources. The company, according to SPARK, was registered in the Pskov region less than two months ago - November 27, 2023. The owner is entrepreneur Alexey Stepanov.
“Ekaterininskaya” will open another clinic in Krasnodar for 250 million rubles
On January 18, the ninth medical center of the “Ekaterininskaya Clinic” network will open in the Kubansky district of Krasnodar. 250 million rubles were spent on the project.
Treatment and diagnostic center with an area of more than 3,000 sq. m is designed to receive 50 thousand patients per year. The new branch will also operate a day hospital (the number of beds is not specified) and a pediatric center.
According to the company, the medical center will offer all major types of diagnostics, including more than 3 thousand types of tests, and instrumental studies such as ultrasound, X-ray, computed tomography and endoscopy. The clinic will also see doctors from more than 30 specialties.
“Ekaterininskaya” with revenue of 7.6 billion rubles in 2022 entered the rating of the Vademecum Analytical Center “TOP200 private multidisciplinary clinics in Russia”, taking seventh place. The network is one of the largest in the Krasnodar region. In addition to the new medical center, it includes 8 clinics (7 multidisciplinary and another diagnostic and treatment center in Sochi) and pharmacy outlets in Krasnodar and Sochi.
In December 2023, the network opened a 24-hour surgical hospital in Krasnodar with 30 beds and an area of 1.4 thousand square meters. m. The company invested 150 million rubles in equipping the center.

The company allocated 220.9 million rubles for construction, for which it received ownership of the facility until 2037.
Earlier, in November 2021, the Magadan Social Concession company submitted an application for the construction of a 50-bed rehabilitation center in Magadan under PPP. The total investment in construction was estimated at 1.7 billion rubles, and the term of the concession agreement was 14 years.

Isomorphic Labs (a subsidiary of Alphabet Inc., the holding company that controls Google Inc. and its subsidiaries) has entered into a collaboration agreement with Novartis and Eli Lilly to develop small molecule drugs using artificial intelligence (AI). This is stated on the website of a subsidiary of Alphabet Inc.
Under the terms of the agreement with Eli Lilly, Isomorphic Labs will receive $45 million upfront and up to $1.7 billion as it progresses through development and research, as well as tiered royalties on net sales. The companies will collaborate on small molecule therapy research against a variety of targets.
