Charitable foundations opposed the prohibition of foreign procurement of IWL
Nine charitable foundations opposed the prohibition of the purchase of artificial lung ventilation (IWL) equipment for public and municipal purposes. They wrote a letter to the head of the Minpromext, Denis Mantourov, writing the Medicine Gazette with reference to the document. The leaders of the NCB, Jivi now, Vera, Korazla, Advita and others have signed.
The letter stated that such a ban would deprive citizens with palliative status and with disabilities of support in the form of an IWL apparatus from the State. The prohibition would not allow the maintenance of the equipment already purchased, which would result in the decommissioning of most of the working apparatus in Russia. This will also be followed by an increase in the State ' s expenditure on permanent medical care and a shortage of shelters.
