The government has updated the procedure for accessing information in the product labeling system

The government has made changes to the rules for ensuring access to information contained in the labeling system. The corresponding resolution No. 2163 dated December 15, 2023 was published on the legal information portal.

The document resolved the issue of providing access to information from the product labeling system for customers and performers in the process of contact production of labeled products. In this format of interaction, for the purposes of providing information, the customer is equated to the manufacturer, who is given full access to information about the movement of products. For contract manufacturing contractors, as for third-party manufacturers, special conditions have been established for access to tracking system data. To gain full access, they must obtain the consent of the manufacturer, that is, the customer. In addition, the labeling system must include information that such a third-party manufacturer participated in the introduction into circulation of individual units of such a product. If such information is not available, the manufacturer has the right to independently provide the requested information.
